The real issue: why is everyone piling on Murdoch?

Fox and Friends have a deliciously desperate take on the tsunami of scandalous revelations currently swamping their parent company. Fox has largely declined to cover the scandal except as a minor (nothng to see here!) story on Fox Business. Now that the scandal has reached such proportions that it would be highly unseemly to continue pretending it doesn't exist while also pretending to be a news organization, we can enjoy the absurdity of their 'coverage'.

On Friday's Fox and Friends, Steve Doocey and PR professional Bob Dilenschneider offer their (fair and balanced!) interpretations of the larger meaning of Murdoch's troubles:

The major themes are:

All kinds of hacking is going on! DoD, Citicorp, Bank of America, etc. We don't have a  problem with our company engaging in criminal behavior, we have a big ol hacking problem!

Why does the media keep piling on? We have lots of other problems! Like a default problem!

All right, we get it! It's a hacking scandal! Can't we all just move on now?

It happened a long time ago! In London! LONDON, fer chrissakes! That's all the way across the ocean!

Murdoch said he was sorry, already! Sheesh!

Enjoy...
